Title: Knight Of Day or The Spectrum?
I don't think anyone is even reading this, but I thought I'd ask for your input anyways. Some of you may know that Knight Of Day Ministries was something I did a little work on in the past, and that I now have no interest in doing that type of work. When I registered this blog I used the name Knight Of Day because that was the name I was using on pretty much everything at that time. Now I kind of want to get rid of that title, or at least not use it for everything. In trying to come up with a new title for this blog I came up with The Spectrum. I like it. But, I want your input on it. The reason I like The Spectrum is that I want to be able to write about anything and that name obviously gives me the oppurtunity to go all over the place. Just leave your comments under the appropriately titled comment section. Thanks...

Well, it does have a meaning, but I don't think it works as the name of a blog. I use it as my screenname on AIM (KnightOfDayJC12), and I used to maintain a website (http://knightofday.tallahasseedistrict.org) that carried the name also. I've changed the blog name to The Spectrum, and also the address. (www.the-sprectrum.blogspot.com).
Here's what Knight Of Day stands for:
The "Knight" refers to Ephesians 6 were we are instructed to put on the full armor of God. "Day" refers to many instances in the Bible were light is referred to as good and darkness as evil.
Romans 13:12
The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Ephesians 6:10-18
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
I came up with KOD a couple of years ago and at that time it meant a lot to me. Were I am right now in my faith it doesn't mean as much, maybe because I've used it for so long. Anyways, I will continue to use KnightOfDayJC12 for AIM.
Thanks for your comments!
